Blasting Towards the Past

When the dreamers and imaginations from those of the past thought of the future of information. They imagined having every book, document, map, reference. They dreamt of magical dial systems so elaborative, that one could call for poetry, fiction, non-fiction, history, drama, philosophy in multiple languages. With the advent of miniature photography, galleries, sculptures, architecture could all be gazed at from under the microscope. Mounds of information could fit into a single postcard where public reading could exist.

Visualizing the web in 3d

Tilt a little remarkable cool Firefox extension tool that poses to not only be useful, but also fun. It visualizes DIVS and other HTML code as stacks and presents them as three-dimensional layered objects.

Back to the Future 4

This vintage poster set gives our current modern day internet technology networks a humorous spin into our past. Like stepping into the 1950s of the DeLorean time machine and seeing how things once were. However, these posters do not stray too far from the truth, in how these online giants portray themselves to their online communities.

Censored Craigslist

Beginning on the weekend of Labor Day, Craigslist took off their Adult section. However instead of quietly pulling the link, a big black rectangle with the word “censored” appears in it’s place. A pretty big statement, expressing this disturbing action of Internet censorship. [..]
