Red Bull Creations

It was a hot sunny Sunday New York afternoon and thousands showed up to McCarren Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to check out the Red Bull Creations event challenging top inventors to build something imaginative and inspiring.

The crowd was sun blazed as two large screens overseeing the main stage with musical performances projecting audio and visuals into the audience by musical performers. By midday, the music stopped and talented teams of inventors were introduced on the left and right side stages of the park.

Style Us

Back in 2007, Steve Jobs didn’t think that a tablet that required a stylus was a device you could trust, saying “If you see a stylus, they blew it.” Plunging the stake into every tablet/ pda predecessor that came before the iPad and the future ones that will follow its lead. With that all done and said, what remains as a missing device in the world of the iPad is a drawing device that can encapsulate my natural ability to draw and sketch on the iPad. [...]

Items That Cannot Be Returned

So I’ve been having a blast with my new found iPad2. Though surprisingly, I don’t use it for games as much as I thought I would have, as I did with my iPhone. My iPad is mostly for reading books or browsing the web. I would probably even use it more for email, except I’ve decided to share my iPad amongst many people, so in order to keep my email privacy, I do not use it for my personal email. [...]

Barry McGee “New Work”

I’ve always marveled Barry McGee wonderful patterns and inspiring network of geometrical artwork showcasing his hand painted typography style. New Work is currently on display in London Modern Art Gallery.

NYC Subways underground

I just don’t understand why our subways look total post war. Every stop is just filled with filth and dirty trash cans. Other subways outside of New York are so clean, they can afford carpeting, pillow cushions, but new york’s underground is a hellish hole for rats and dirty drippy ceilings infested with rustic debris. The stores that surround these stations are the worst batch of them all. I would never want to eat at these stations, or get my hair cut. The stations on the subways are just ridden with over flowing trash bins, conveniently located by the best places to sit, once the stink of the last man there leaves the area. A haven for homeless riders to find a warm place to sleep.

Back to the Future 4

This vintage poster set gives our current modern day internet technology networks a humorous spin into our past. Like stepping into the 1950s of the DeLorean time machine and seeing how things once were. However, these posters do not stray too far from the truth, in how these online giants portray themselves to their online communities.
